An initiative of the Dunalley Tasman Neighbourhood House and Bream Creek Community Market Garden Inc.
To support people in the Dunalley Region to practice social distancing and stay at home as much as possible, the Dunalley Tasman Neighbourhood House, in partnership with Bream Creek Community Market Garden Inc, has accelerated the roll out of our Barter and Buy Food Box program, made possible through our Healthy Tasmanian Communities grant, funded by the Crown through the Department of Health.
Dunalley Tasman Neighbourhood House recognises the need for all Tasmanians to practise social distancing and the high demand for delivered services across all our catchment areas, from Copping, through to Dunalley. We are working hard to ensure we keep up to date with any emerging opportunities in our community to meet the challenges ahead, and if you are seeking access to affordable food in your area but are not covered by this initiative (a geographical footprint set out in our existing grant guidelines – see our terms and conditions), give us a call on 6253 5579 and we’ll try and connect you with what’s available in your area to the best of our ability.
If you are a Health Care Card holder or Pensioner in our community, and are unable to access our food boxes, Copping Community Care Centre may be able to provide you with food at no cost.
